  • Deep sanitization hand stations with hospital grade sanitizers throughout the entire facility especially all entrance points. 
  • Temperature checked prior to entrance.
  • Contact tracing with online Waivers. 
  • We will be sanitizing throughout the playtime high-touch points.
  •  Masks are to be worn at all times. 
  • No exiting and returning under admission.
  • For Walk-ins, it is First Come, First Serve.

Kid’s Cuckoos Nest Standards

As we work hard, preparing to reopen, we are excited to share ‘The Cuckoos Nest Standard.’ This new standard will help guide the reopening of our facility and will help ensure the safety and health of our families going forward.

Anyone who has an event booked prior to COVID-19 will be reached to come to a solution to ensure your happiness. Your patience in this difficult time is very much appreciated.

Keep checking back for updates. Together, we’ll remain #CanadianStrong! The official reopening dates will be informed by a number of factors, including:

  • The stage each region is at with their recovery
  • Information and guidelines released by public health authorities
  • The full implementation of Kids Cuckoos Nest standards

Kids Cuckoos Nest is closely monitoring all federal and provincial guidelines. We are committed to meeting, or exceeding them. We will only reopen when we are comfortable that it is safe to do so. This means not only having the green light from provincial governments and public health officials but also being confident that we have our standards in place so our children and families feel safe returning.

Times and hours will be altered starting November 23, 2020: Daily 2-hour time slots 10:00 am to 12:00 pm / 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm / 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm. Private play time must be booked in advance, with a maximum of 10 guests per session. You and your group will have use of the full facility during your 2-hour time slot. There is scheduled cleaning in between and during time slots.

We will work together to help promote physical distancing, reducing the potential spread of communicable illnesses.

Important Things to Know

Remember to Bring Socks to Kid's Cuckoos Nest

PREPARE YOURSELVES FOR A CUCKOO TIME! Remember to bring socks! Shoes are not permitted in the Play Spaces but socks must be worn. No food, drink or shoes in Play Spaces. It’s very important we keep it clean. We do not allow outside food – from home nor from restaurants such as Tim Hortons or McDonald’s. Refreshments are available from the Kids Cuckoo’s Nest café. Some children may have severe allergies so we strive to keep any outside allergens from entering.
